Fund for providing scholarships and facilitating progress of talented students and young researchers and artists

Fund for providing scholarships and facilitating progress of talented students and young researchers and artists of the University of Novi Sad was founded in May 1992. The aim of the Fund is to facilitate the development of talented students, young researchers and artists in all fields of education, science and arts in an organized and systematic way. Financial resources of the Fund are provided by the faculties of the University of Novi Sad, individual donations and other institutions and companies.

Scholarships for talented students of the University

Every year, at the end of October, the Fund opens a Call for awarding scholarships. Students of the University of Novi Sad, who obtained the minimum GPA of 9.00  are eligible to apply, as follows:
•    Students of the third year, enrolled in three year undergraduate academic studies
•    Students enrolled in the third and the fourth year of undergraduate academic studies
•    Students enrolled in Master academic studies, who are not employed
•    Students who are enrolled in the final three years of integrated studies, which are organized within undergraduate and master academic studies.

According to the available financial resources, Board of the Fund every year makes decisions which confirm the number of the scholarships which will be awarded to the best students. In 1992, the Fund awarded 19 scholarship in its first cycle of awarding scholarships. In the following years, the number of scholarships increased, as well as the number of applicants. From its founding to the academic year of 2014/15, the Fund awarded a total of 992 scholarships to the best students of University of Novi Sad.
