The Rector is elected by the University Senate for a three-year term. The members of the University Senate are chosen from the rank of Full Professors of the Faculties that the University comprises.

The University appoints four Vice-rectors. The University Senate elects the Vice-rectors for a three-year term, based on Rector’s proposal, from the rank of Full Professors of the Faculties that the University comprises.

Rector of the University of Novi Sad is Professor Dejan Madić, PhD, Faculty of Sports and Physical Education.

Vice-Rector for Education and Student Activities is Professor Đorđe Herceg, PhD, Faculty of Sciences.

Vice-Rector for Science and Art is Professor Nikola Jorgovanović, PhD, Faculty of Technical Sciences.

Vice-Rector for International Relations is Professor Sabina Halupka-Rešetar, PhD, Faculty of Philosophy.

Vice-Rector for Finances and Organization Processes is Professor Artur Bjelica, PhD, Faculty of Medicine.
