SILVER AND BRONZE MEDAL FOR JUDOKAS AT THE EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY GAMES

The 3rd edition of the European University Games, held in Zagreb and Rijeka from 11th until 26th July, gathered a record number of participants. More than 5,500 athletes representing over 400 universities competed in 21 sports. In the Judo competititon, where our students won the silver and bronze medals, as many as 102 universities took part.

 
The students of the University of Novi Sad achieved remarkable success in the Judo championship in Rijeka by winning the silver and bronze medals. The medallists were the Serbian national team players, Sara Tintor in the category up to 70 kg, and Vladimir Gajić, in the heavyweight division. Also, the student, Tea Tintor, took the fifth place in the category up 63 kg.
