UNIVERSITY OF NOVI SAD STUDENTS WON THE THIRD PLACE IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN FRANKFURT

 

The students of the University of Novi Sad won the third place in the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court competition which was held between March 12 and 16, 2018 in Frankfurt. The University of Novi Sad participated for the first time in this oldest competition in the area of investment arbitration which is also one of the five most prestigious competitions in the world in moot court. The University entered the semi-finals competing against 47 teams from over 30 countries across the world. The University of Novi Sad team was composed of the following students: Igor Bauranov, Milena Rašković, Jovana Rubežić and Bojana Spajić. The students were prepared for the competition in the area of international investment law and international arbitration by professors from the International Law Department: Prof. Dr. Maja Stanivuković, Prof. Dr. Sanja Đajić, Dr. Petar Đundić, Assistant Professor, and Bojana Ristić, Teaching Assistant, whereas they were trained in legal practice skills by Mr. Boško Kaćanski, an attorney-at-law from Novi Sad.
